Hudson Gardens Wedding | Denver Wedding Photography
We are swooning over this Hudson Gardens wedding. My favorite part of being a Denver wedding photographer is not only the honor of shooting the most important day of their lives but to go through the images after which brings the whole story back to life again. When I work on the album, I curl up on the sofa with my favorite blanket and I put together a truly custom piece of art. Monica and Ty’s fall wedding at Hudson Gardens was two years in the making. They booked us two years almost to the day before their wedding and it was a long wait, we were so excited to be their wedding photographers.
When we arrived in the morning to the home of Monica and Ty to start photographing wedding details, the bridesmaids were partying and our lovely bride was making mimosas. They had their specially curated playlist of all Monica’s favorites to jam to while getting their hair and makeup done. The house was clear of guys except for Jonathan shooting the jewelry before heading over to see the guys. Ty was preparing to suit up at his childhood home a few miles away. Everyone was up early to get beautiful for the first look before their early afternoon ceremony. The mother of the bride was beaming watching her only daughter surrounded with love on this special day, she even matched the bridal party in her floral robe which was a gift given to all the ladies from Monica. The bridesmaids surprised our lovely bride with a handcrafted scrapbook full of memories they shared with Monica, they were laughing at some of their hilarious photos in the keepsake. Monica was truly touched by how thoughtful her best friends were and it will be something she cherishes forever. Monica’s “something old” was the handmade ring pillow from her parents wedding and after all these years it looked like it would have on her parents wedding day.
While the groom and his groomsmen opted out of wearing a boutonniere they looked pretty handsome without it for a winning wedding look.
One of my favorite moments of the whole wedding day is when the bride and her father have a first look. This moment was especially touching because of how close Monica and her father are. He was blown away at how beautiful she looked. We set this up so that the bride’s father sees her before her husband to be. Father of the bride always loved her first just like the song.
The wedding bouquet Monica choose for her walk down the isle had a fresh picked feel featuring gold, orange and purple with just the right amount of green foliage. This stunning bouquet was designed by Fleur de Liz, who artistically placed every sunflower within the bouquets. Berries and corral roses looked perfect for this Colorado bride’s wedding at Hudson Gardens. The grounds surrounding Our Lady of Loreto made for a beautiful backdrop to feature these lovely Colorado wedding bouquets. As Denver wedding photographers, we use different textures to give you a Mile High City feel and highlight your natural Colorado wedding.
More to come on this wedding in the next few days.
