I had such an incredible time shooting Sam and Bryce’s Cheyenne engagement photos. They are too damn cute and I am looking forward to their upcoming fall wedding at Hereford Ranch. This winter day turned out to be pretty warm and sunny but windy like usual. Love how the wind was blowing through Sam’s hair. They had a super playful engagement session in downtown Cheyenne. Cheyenne is a pretty small city but we have some unique locations for engagement photos. This old brick building is an awesome backdrop for some romantic snaps of this cute couple. I love how Sam’s gorgeous red red hair looks with this distressed brick wall. Beautiful!
The Cheyenne downtown revitalization also has a few new buildings that I love to use for photo shoots. This metal wall with the rivets is one of my favorite spots for photos, not to mentions the cool black beams. All of us Cheyenne residents are really excited for the new changes coming. My first thought was, “oh I can’t wait for more modern backdrops for my photo shoots!”
Engagement Photos at Frontier Park
Frontier Park near where Frontier Days is hosted is a very popular spot for photos. Your Cheyenne engagement photos can easily be shot in many places throughout the city because its so small making it great for a lot of variety of backgrounds.
My favorite time of year to shoot is the winter. I love the muted colors making my couple stand out in the images. They are the focus and I love everything about it. The affection they showed each other during the session was fire. Giggling and dancing in the warm sunlight, it turned out to be a perfect afternoon.
Behind the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens is a little pond with this cute zig-zag walk way that leads to nowhere but its a great location for romantic engagement photos. These poses of them cuddling on the ground in Frontier Park are undeniable adorable. We can’t wait to shoot their October wedding at Hereford Ranch in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Fall weddings in Wyoming are beautiful and the trees changing colors on the ranch are going to be spectacular.
