Golden, Colorado, set the stage for a memorable engagement photoshoot with JP and Rachel. We started in the heart of downtown, right under the iconic “Welcome to Golden” arch. The warm, Western-style atmosphere of the town made for a perfect backdrop, full of charm and character.
One of the best moments of the shoot was when JP dipped Rachel right in the middle of the street. I love the view with the arch towering behind them. The energy between them was so genuine and playful, and it showed in every shot.

From downtown Golden, we made our way over to the Colorado School of Mines. The campus, with its mix of historic and modern architecture, provided a calm, reflective contrast to the bustling streets of Golden. We captured photos at some of their favorite spots on campus.
The balance between the vibrant town and the meaningful campus gave this shoot a special touch, showing both sides of their story: the adventurous, joyful moments and the quieter, more thoughtful ones.
