Riveted Photography is a full service newborn photographer located in Williston, North Dakota. Our newborn photography is fine art studio posed newborn and studio family with newborn. I will on occasion shoot a lifestyle newborn session but studio work is my passion.
I love to use things around my home for accent pieces in the styling of the session. The white metal floral wreath is from Restoration Hardware Baby.
These organic newborn props and this dried floral halo are so beautiful for Charlotte’s newborn session. Our Williston newborn photography studio is full of beautiful handmade props from the best vendors in the industry and tons of natural elements that we incorporate into our photos.
For our newborn sessions, I love to use florals from a local florist. Supporting local small business is essential right now with the Covid crisis and beyond that, we want these small shops to be a great success in their community. The beautiful pink roses are from Country Floral in Williston. Picking out the florals in the morning before the session is my favorite way to start the day, then I swing by the drive thru at Meg-A-Latte. It gets me in the Baby Whisperer groove.
The knit bonnets and wool felties (fawn and the rainbow) are just a few of my favorites for newborn girls. Since this little one was an autumn baby, I used a lot of mustard colors in her session. This foil star drop is gorgeous complimented with a gold velvet star tieback.
Pastel rainbow baby in a boho bamboo basket is too freaking adorable. I love how she was smiling at me. She is all bundled up and tied with a cute bow. Charlotte was a great sleeper but sometimes had to look around and see what I was doing.
Fine Art Parent Portraits
The studio parent photos are so special and my favorite part of the newborn session. While I love the posed studio newborn photography, the parent photos are gorgeous. I can’t wait for Jonathan and I to have a little family so we can do this. They’re simply perfect captures of the emotion and connection of the parents with their new baby.
