This Christmas was extra special for us this year, it was our 10 year wedding anniversary and we spent it shooting family portraits. As long as we are together doing something we love, I couldn’t ask for anything more. The week before Christmas every year is usually the most busy with family portraits and a big part of why we will be celebrating our anniversary after the holidays. We had mini sessions almost every weekend and some full family portraits too. Not to mention, we had cards, photo gifts and wall art gifts for Santa to deliver! We shipped gifts across the country and are so grateful for all our wonderful clients and the USPS for getting all photo gifts delivered before the big day. We are thankful that we had pretty decent weather up here in Wyoming too! Normally we have lots of wind in Cheyenne but it didn’t bother us much doing all our outdoor family portraits. Having a Cheyenne portrait studio makes it nice too because if the family wants to do their session indoors, we can easily accommodate them. Families large and small are welcome to the studio for the most adorable holiday family photos ever.

Outfits for Your Christmas Mini Session
Check Pinterest for some Christmas outfit inspiration, it is the best resource to find the latest in trends. Make sure your outfit goes together from head to toe as the photos will be full body and cropped. Christmas nails are so great especially if you have little kids that you will be holding on your lap, make sure your nails look nice. Bring jewelry and layers to make your outfit complete.
Newlyweds making your first ever Christmas card as a married couple is one of my favorite cards to make for the holidays. Love to incorporate a wedding pic or two plus some themed ones with the dog. We couldn’t possibly call them family portraits without the dog. Our studio is completely dog, cat and other fur baby friendly! We even had a goat once in the studio. Bring your fur babies with outfits to match yours. They must match with mama for their holiday photos. Bow ties, little sweaters or whatever it may be is super cute for your sweet little family member.

Our biggest photo gift seller is the ornaments. Quality, metal ornaments that have a photo printed on both sides are a Christmas favorite. Additionally, we sent out albums and wood prints on float mounts.
