This tiny peanut came to see us for her newborn photos at like 9 days new. She was so sleepy and I love these studio girl newborn photos. Of course I had to do a quick nod to astronomy with this sweet moon backdrop.

The toes peeking out is a mom favorite. We always shoot the tiny details for boy and girl newborn photos; their lashes and toes, are always included in the client gallery.

Our Williston studio is loaded with handmade props and thoughtfully selected elements to make your newborn photos as unique as your baby. Prop addiction is a real thing over here and it would be impossible to use everything I have in one studio session so I encourage my clients to come in for a consultation to pick everything out.

During the client consultation, I get an idea of their style and we discuss colors, props and outfits for their newborn session. The night before the session, I set everything up and get to play with all my newborn studio props while listening to an audiobook… Usually I am listening to Harry Potter. The chunky knit blanket under Aurora, I knitted for the session. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, I picked up a few new hobbies during the lockdown and knitting has been one of my favorite evening hobbies the last few months.

One more astronomy thing for the session, this handmade headband and star backdrop. If you have me as your newborn photographer, just know you’ll most likely get something astronomy related in your session.
