This old railroad bridge is the prettiest place in Minot for fall family photos. Later in the day, the golden hour sun makes these images worthy to hang on the wall. Fall is the best season for North Dakota family photos. Jonathan and I have been all over the country and lived in the several other countries with beautiful landscapes. But there is something about the midwest that is so beautiful, I can’t explain it. I love these rolling hills and old historic buildings. Not to mention the fall weather is my favorite.
With little kids at family shoots, you gotta move fast. They go a million miles an hour and while we don’t have kids of our own yet, shooting families with children are our favorite family portrait sessions. The candid family moments are my favorite and usually the kids tap out at looking at the camera after about 20 minutes.
