We’re staying closer to home today, shooting these maternity photos here in North Dakota.
Recently, I had the privilege of photographing Rashelle and Mike, a delightful couple who are expecting a baby girl. The excitement is palpable. I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll also be capturing their newborn’s first moments at my Williston portrait studio very soon. Our session planning is already brimming with adorable girl-themed props and details that they have lovingly selected.

Rashelle chose a stunning mocha-colored, off-the-shoulder gown featuring a full skirt and an elegant leg slit. This was obviously ideal for the golden-hour photos we envisioned. Encouraging couples to coordinate outfits ensures that every detail complements the mood and style of the shoot. Michael’s crisp shirt and cowboy hat paired beautifully with Rashelle’s gown.

Downtown Minot North Dakota Maternity Photos
In the heart of downtown Minot North Dakota, Rashelle and Mike embraced the vibrant backdrop of city life for their maternity session. Opting for a casual yet chic style, Rashelle looked stunning in a sleek black dress that perfectly highlighted her growing bump. This choice not only complemented the urban setting but also allowed for a series of intimate and stylish photographs that captured the essence of this exciting time in their lives.
One of my favorite captures from the session is a tender moment where their hands gently cradle the bump, showcasing a beautiful rose gold bracelet engraved with the words “Best Mom Ever.” This small but significant detail added a personal touch to the photographs, reflecting the anticipation and love they already have for their baby.
Williston Newborn Photography Studio
As of September 20th, 2021, we will be located at 705 East Highland Drive Suite D, Williston, ND 58801. We are in the building across the parking lot from Jimmy John’s on the Williston State College Campus. The studio will be open daily from 9 am – 5 pm, unless we are out shooting on location or traveling for wedding photography. Our Williston portrait studio specializes in newborn photography, milestone and children’s photography sessions. The studio will also have a boho boudoir theme and we shoot corporate headshots. We designed our full-service photography studio with our clients in mind. You will have to come in to see for yourself!!
