These people are too damn cute and we cannot wait to capture their elopement in Ouray, Colorado this fall. I am loving with how fun these Boulder engagement photos are on the Pearl Street Mall. So Jonathan is from Boulder and he had complete creative control of this shoot. He really has an eye to create emotional photos in urban settings. This whole area is his childhood stomping grounds and he knows the city well.

Wrinkle your nose, sniff eye, tell her something naughty, point and laugh, squeeze butt cheeks together, it works!! Can you imagine Jonathan giving these directions? Luckily he didn’t have to say it for long.
Helen and Marc are unbelievably adorable and needed no direction for their Boulder engagement photos. They were naturals, blissfully in love and super fun to capture these candid moments that really show who they are.
The Boulder Theater is a historic landmark and a local favorite for concerts. The “Two Friends” marquee says it all for these best friends about to have a dream elopement in one of Colorado’s most loved mountain towns, Ouray.
Just dance like no one is watching cause there is literally a zillion people taking a stroll on the Pearl Street Mall. Saturday evenings in downtown Boulder are alway busy with patrons at the cute little shops and gourmet restaurants but we did find a few secluded spots for these cuddling photos.
We have really had a lot of fun getting to know these guys. The connection with our couples is so important to be able to capture these moments and making sure they’re comfortable in front of our lens is so important. Photography is the story we cannot put into words. You don’t need all this rambling from this blog to tell they’re in love. You can feel their connection from the images.
