Today we’re doing a Star Wars newborn session featuring the newborn Jedi, baby Luke. Joining him later in the shoot is his older brother, Jack. It’s exciting to see Jack back in the studio with his little brother after doing his newborn session back in 2023. We even did the maternity sessions featuring their parents, Sarah and John. We always enjoy sharing in a family’s journey and today was no exception.

If you’ve been to our website before, you know we are big Star Wars fans. So at this point, it’s time for baby Luke to take up his light saber for the Star Wars portion of his newborn session. We start off in green, dressed as Yoda. Then we see Luke peacefully slumbering with a felted light saber and R2-D2 companion.
Returning to guest star in this photoshoot is big brother Jack, dressed as a legendary Jedi Master! What a fun way to capture Jack’s journey as a big brother to Luke! He poses next to Luke in a bucket, and even holds Luke in his arms for some of these sweetly captured shots.
Finally, we captured a soft side of siblinghood by bringing the brothers together for some more traditional shots. We love shoots like Luke’s Star Wars newborn session that that are a mix of traditional portraits and fun themes.
