Tapestry House Wedding

In the tiny Colorado town of LaPorte, just northwest of Fort Collins, hides the sweetest little wedding venue of your dreams. A place very near and dear to our hearts, The Tapestry House. Every wedding there is lovely in its own unique way. This wedding was perfection and Elly’s style is sure to inspire some wedding inspiration. Check out these lovely captures from their day.

We got married at the Tapestry House in 2009 and this victorian house is by far our favorite Colorado wedding venue. Every single detail of the property is perfectly thought out. They didn’t miss a thing.

These adorable matching pink floral bridesmaids robes make the getting ready photos look that much more sweet. The gals sure had fun drinking their mimosas and celebrating the bride to be.

This classic bride went with blush for her bridesmaids dresses and we love how she had the girls each pick their own style. Someone might have forgotten the little flower girls shoes but they looked oh-so cute barefoot. Slightly obsessed with this blush color palette and glam wedding makeup.

I am loving Elly’s ethereal wedding dress right now. The lace sweetheart neckline with floral appliqués and the details on her veil were perfection. Elly’s bridal bouquet was simple with a variety of blooms to accent her wedding dress.

A beautiful, warm fall day in Northern Colorado with pops of color surrounding this quaint little venue. The grounds of the Tapestry House could not have been any more perfect for golden hour nuptials.

These cute flower girls were clearly going to steal the show, they looked princess-like with their sun dresses, matching headbands and their little signs. We love this wedding detail.

Elly’s father giving her away is a bittersweet moment that I always look forward to when capturing the wedding ceremony.

I love the view from the balcony of the Tapestry House. The fall colors here are stunning and make for a perfect ceremony backdrop. This Tapestry House wedding ceremony is by far the most gorgeous we have ever shot. The lighting, location and weather all made for an ideal wedding day.

Happily Ever After

The best part of the ceremony is only 5 seconds long. The moment when they are formally announced as a married couple followed by their walk together down the aisle. These moments show the happiness and joy of the start of their new life together. Until the photos are delivered after the wedding, I am the only one that gets to see this moment from directly in front of the couple. After they pass the last row of seats, there is a look they give each other that only happens for a moment, its hard to explain but I am honored to be able to capture this fragment of time that is so essential in the telling of their love story.

As if the Tapestry House wasn’t already perfect, this arch covered in vibrant greens is one of my favorite places to get pics of the couple walking down the aisle.

Every wedding must have a group shot of all the wedding guests. Also a great way to kick off the festivities of the reception.

The Wedding Reception

Elly and Erik had an unforgettable wedding reception in the Pavilion just behind the gorgeous Tapestry House.

The mercury glass vases with soft pink florals looks gorgeous inside the reception pavilion at the Tapestry House. The ceiling is adorned with sparkling fairy lights making for a romantic setting.

This 3-tier edible piece of art smelled absolutely delicious with butter cream frosting, my absolute favorite. Elly and Erik has the yummiest wedding deserts complete with a candy bar fully customized with the couples favorite treats.

Side note: I love cake, I grew up with my parents making 3 wedding cakes every weekend. They were the best in all of the Bay Area. I was born into a childhood of wedding cakes, frosting, hot treats right out of the oven and this cake was hella good.

The Maid of Honor and Best Man delivered heart-felt speeches for the couple and best wishes for their new life together.

Smash the cake a little! Your guests will love it, makes the moment fun and pictures super cute.

Reception Send Off

When you’re a Tapestry House couple, they have a special tradition unlike any other venue in Colorado. You get a beautiful keepsake brick with your names engraved and your wedding date. One brick stays with you forever and the other goes into the garden path in front of the beautiful victorian home. At the end of your wedding reception, the wonderful TH staff gather all your guests for the brick ceremony and reception send off. I tear up a little every time thinking back to our special day and we have our brick ready to place into the garden path for when we buy our first home. Of all the wedding venues we have had the pleasure to work at over the years, the Tapestry House is by far best wedding venue Colorado has to offer, I may be a little biased. Wink! 😉

Congratulations to Elly and Erik from your photographers over here at Riveted. xo, Jannelle and Jonathan
